2010 - HELP the Baltimore and Fort Detrick Posts SUPPORT OUR TROOPS! Help
us reach our goal of half a ton!
Donations will be collected through 17 May 2010, so there
is still plenty of time. The winner and attending participants will be
recognized at the Baltimore Post’s Recognition meeting on 19 May at the
Engineering Society of Baltimore. For more information or to become a

WHAT:

Contest to support
deployed troops and their families by donating items to troops in
Iraq and Afghanistan. Last year we collected over 700 lbs. of
donations. We are shooting for 1000 lbs. this year! We
are also looking for corporate sponsors to donate to cover overseas
shipping, which was $500.00 last year. |

 HOW:

Bring your
donation in a labeled bag or other labeled container to
our meetings or otherwise get it to Rob Scrafford at Gannett
Fleming (see below for contact info.)

A decorative
labeled box will be near the door at the ESB
during the meeting.
PARTICULARS:

Each donated item
will be counted and tallied (see
idea list of items)

Donating firms and
individuals will be ranked based on the number of items donated.

Just leave a note
to donate in honor or in memory of a service member. Your
tribute will be published in the newsletter.
WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?

Rankings will be
published regularly in e-mails, the newsletter, and Post website
(FREE ADVERTISING).

Corporate and
individual winners will receive a framed plaque.

Extra publicity at
the recognition meeting.
